El CamPestre
Like most towns, Chilhowie has many yummy restaurants. What makes this one special is its name, most people in Chilhowie call it the Mexican restaurant instead of El Campestre.
It got the building from another Chilhowie restaurant called the Rainbow. What made the restaurant unique is its giant rainbow in front of the building that said the Rainbow.
El Campestre translated in English is “the country”. It has amazing Mexican food and has awesome service. When you get there you will be greeted with ( in Christmastime) a room with wooden seats and a huge nativity scene. On normal days it has the same room without the nativity scene. Then a waiter or waitress will take you to your seat and they will give you chips and salsa. Then you place your order and eat! What the editors like to eat is the Arroz Texacano. In concussion, the less than 2,000 people in Chilhowie will know this heartwarming restaurant to be the Mexican restaurant instead of El Campestre
We hope when you come to Chilhowie you go to this amazing restaurant that serves happiness
And that the people of Chilhowie call “the Mexican”.

NASCAR is starting to race with no fans. Fans can watch it on TV. We hope that we can see more sports to adapt to this pandemic. That’s all.
Tragedy on Dungan farm
________________________________________________________________________________________________
On June 1 Mr. Dungan was bailing hay on the westside of his house. Then his back left wheel fell off. He is ok and didn’t get hurt. Some kind friends helped put the wheel back on. The tractor wheel fell off in a deep part of the hill. The amazing thing is that he didn’t get hurt and his tractor will run again someday.
COVID-19
*more on this topic on next weeks newspaper____________________________________________
Are we going back to school virtually? That question that is sweeping the nation with fear. The Smyth county board of education is making a team of people to make this decision. There will be a middle school, elementary school, and high school board with one teacher and one administrator from each school. They will do zoom meetings and make a decision on what we will do in the fall and how we will educate students. Mrs. Dungan and Mrs. Rusell (the assistant principal) will represent Chilhowie high school.
That wraps up this week’s Paine Girl Report, we hope you enjoyed it!!
